In March, we saw a further cooling in the lettings market. Average rents in London declined by 7.6% year on year.
At the same time, the number of enquiries per property continued to fall, with 30 enquiries recorded in March 2026, the second-lowest monthly level we have seen over the past three years.
March is historically a quieter month. From April onwards, we expect the market to become busier as we move into the warmer months, although we expect activity to remain below the levels seen in previous years.
