Advice is aimed at providing the best strategy to reduce the tax burden in a clear and transparent way. None of the advice provided will involve provocative scheme type planning but only the best advice based on Case Law and HMRC practice. 

There are a number of situations in which a Property Landlord should seek advice: 

• Should property be held in an individual’s name, partnership or in a company

• What is the potential Capital Gains Tax that might be payable upon the sale of property

• As a landlord what are the rates of SDLT that apply and what reliefs are available
