Lauren@hello-neighbour was fantastic from start to finish she processed two lots of tenants for two separate flats, chased up and kept us updated.

What do landlords and tenants say?
Mostly good, and specific. Of our 659 Trustpilot reviews, 90% are five star, 4% are four star, under 1% each are three star and two star, and 5% are one star (Trustpilot, read 23 October 2026). The five-star reviews tend to name the person who handled the let, which tells you more than a star rating does.
Georgina James, a landlord, wrote that her account manager "processed two lots of tenants for two separate flats, chased up and kept us updated" (Trustpilot, 14 September 2026). Gordon Yeoman found it "refreshing to deal with them compared to some of the bigger companies out there". Mark Low, who has let a London property through us since 2022, was "initially hesitant about the online only model with no high street presence" and compared us with high street agents before deciding (Trustpilot, 8 October 2026).
Tenants review us too. One wrote on 14 September 2026 that booking the viewing "took me one minute". A smooth process for applicants is part of what gets a landlord's property let.
4.6 out of 5.

What do the critical reviews say?
That we have not always got it right. 5% of our Trustpilot reviews are one star, and the ones from the last six months cover four things: a landlord who found our packages and prices unclear and had to chase for a call back (August 2026); a returning landlord who felt the service had become more app-led, with less human contact than three years earlier (July 2026); a tenant whose emergency repair, reported on a Sunday night, was not dealt with quickly enough (June 2026); and an applicant who travelled to a viewing that did not go ahead (May 2026).
Richard Jenkins, our CEO and co-founder, replies to every review himself, good and bad. Every week the team reads the good ones together and celebrates the people named in them. Richard investigates each negative review with the team members involved, and we share what we learn across the business so the same thing does not happen to the next customer.
Read the critical reviews before you decide. They are the fairest test of how an agent behaves when something goes wrong.
Questions to ask any letting agent, us included:
- What exactly does the package include, and what costs extra?
- Who do I call, and how quickly will they call back?
- Who runs the viewings, and what happens if they cannot attend?
- What happens to an emergency out of hours?
Our answer to the last one: call 020 8138 8848, which redirects to our out-of-hours line.
Are we a real, regulated letting agent?
Yes. Hello Neighbour Limited is a UK letting agent registered at Companies House under number 10634461. We are members of The Property Ombudsman redress scheme and the UK Association of Letting Agents (UKALA), and client money is protected through UKALA's Client Money Protection scheme. Our terms, management agreement and complaints procedure are published on our legal page.
We list properties as an agent on Rightmove, Zoopla and OnTheMarket. Suzanne Smith reviewed our Get Rented service on The Independent Landlord on 31 August 2026, after paying full price and letting her property within seven days. She is a non-executive director of Hello Neighbour and says so in her review.

How do I leave a review?
On Trustpilot or Google, whichever you use. If you have let a property with us, rented one through us or used Get Listed or Get Rented, leave a review on Trustpilot or on our Google profile. Good or bad, it helps the next landlord decide.
Trustpilot currently notes that we have not invited customers to review us recently, so the reviews there were left without a prompt from us. If something has gone wrong, we would still rather hear it directly first: call 020 8138 8848 or email contact@hello-neighbour.com, and our complaints procedure is on our legal page.
